Support for beyond-classroom programs is facilitated by the TPHSF to cover after-school activities that provide students the opportunity for enrichment, leadership, skills enhancement, team building, and achievement beyond traditional in-school curriculum.
Funding provided by the District covers only the bare necessities for these programs, if at all. Additional funding is necessary so that these after-school programs meet the same standard of excellence as the courses in the classroom. Funding for each program is coordinated by the program’s Liaison, who works with TPHSF. The Foundation oversees the collection, accounting, management, and disbursement of the funds raised, which go directly to the program for equipment, travel, coaches/instructors, and whatever else is necessary to go from good to great.

Donations made to each program are reserved for use by that program.*
*10% of ASP donations, net of credit card transaction fees, is allocated to support the essential infrastructure and expenses that make the Foundation’s fundraising and volunteer activities possible, including: to maintain 501c(3) legal status and generate donor letters; professional accounting services; audited 990s financial tax management; banking expenses; database management to support ASP/booster liaisons; business intelligence technology, including donation and expense efficiency analytics; website maintenance, fundraising tools and marketing communication direct costs; salaries for one full-time and two part-time administrative employees; insurance for facilities use for camps, clinics and tournaments and board liability insurance.
